☕ Switching Themes

I am totally obsessed with switching themes in anything I use. Take Mac OS X for instance. Even though there are only two possible themes (Graphite and Blue), I switch between them every few months. I know what they both are like. I’ve used them both for years. �However, I can’t stay still for long.

Now I’m inviting you to share my obsession. I’ve added a Theme Swither widget to the sidebar on the right. If it is too horribly broken, I will remove it (in which case please mock me mercilessly for this post), but I love it. It allows me to go right from one theme to another and eventually find what my flavor of the month. �

What will happen when I change the default theme again? Will you see it, or will you have already changed your theme? If you are anything like me, this theme will last for all of a week before you’ve tried out every possible other option, hacked in a couple options that don’t exist, then finally settle on right one. Enjoy.

What can be the only thing better than one Larsen? NOTHING! But, in order to help out with the chores around here, I’m inviting some other Larsenous people to help out with the brain dumps.

There have been recent outcries about post irregularities.� You may have heard about some of the riots on Sky News.

Don’t be worried, my little kumquat, all things come in good time.

Like, how about a story of two non-brave adventurers in their quest against the English language?

Or a treatise on sleep.

Maybe not that last one.?? OR MAYBE!

Well all right! The new design is done, the code is in place, now all that’s left is content. And that’s the easy part; heh. On second thought, the last part is in fact you, gentle reader. I do appreciate that you took the time to wander to my little corner of this grand internet; please let me know of any thoughts about the layout of this site.

Read on, if ye be of firm mind…

Taking time out of nights is difficult. I have a girlfriend that I love, a job I appreciate, a family I don’t see nearly enough of, and friends that I hardly ever see. So you can appreciate why this site takes backseat in my life’s to-do list a lot.

My hope, though, is that this site will 1) entertain you 2) provide a creative outlet for me and 3) not be a complete waste of time. You are involved in both steps 1 and 3, so please, let’s all make this thing work.
