A primer for the uninitiated
It has come to my attention that some details of my writing may be slipping by a few of our readers, astute though they may be. For that reason I’ve compiled a list of fun facts and interesting pointers to help everyone slog through the mess I’ve created.
- Eustace really, really hates the english language. Think of it as if the english language killed his mother.
- Hank hates the english language, but in a much less intense way than Eustace.
- Because of these two facts every word spoken by Eustace is a direct attempt to destroy the english language. Hank can understand him because he also hates the english language.
- The flaming beast of Zagher that appears in chapter 8 represents the repressed angst Eustace feels towards Melissa. That is why the potato is so funny.
