I always love to hear people talk about christians as “ignorant” who believe in a literal creation. They display their own short sightedness, arrogance, and flippant attitude towards truth whenever they blabber their aureate musings.

No christian has ever said science does not exist or is completely false. We certainly believe God is free of science’s bounds. Doesn’t make much sense to you? Tough, you didn’t create science, so it probably won’t. It is a matter of faith. And, trust me, everyone has faith in something, especially when it comes to the origins of everything.

What I will discuss here is the reasoned, Biblical answer to the beginning of the universe, and how what we believe displays God in science. In summation, I believe:

God Created The World In Mid-Life.

So, what are the ramifications of that? It effectively takes away all scientific attacks against christianity. Every attack based on the age of the earth, or Biblical recollections of creation, is based on observable material evidence. That is, things that people can see, touch, or hear. So, to make it as plain as possible:

If you can see, touch, or hear something, God could have made it that way

Quite simple, I know, but that simple touch can cause tsunamis in Japan. 300 million year old dinosaur bones? God put them there when He created the earth. 4 billion year old rays of light reaching earth? God set the light in motion when He created the earth. Scientific facts are irrelevant not because they’re not true, but because they could be interpreted in either way.

No building too high, no detail to small for this powerful tool of apologetics. But, I’ve saved the best part for last. Act now on mid-life creation and I’ll throw in free will.

What? That’s not enough? Fine, I’ll throw in free will and faith! Yeah! How’s that for a deal!

It’s easy to see, this theory is a homerun not just because it neatly ties together creation with scientific details, it also puts man in his proper place:

Man must make a decision on God based on faith.

Make no mistake about it, everone makes a choice based on faith. In the end, both creation and naturalism can use the facts to support their disparate claims. Did God create the world or did the world just exist? Honestly, it’s just a question of does God exist. The Bible claims, and now scientific data backs up, that every man is saved by grace through faith. If there were a logical law, some theoretic claim that led inexcuseably to God, then there is no need for faith.

No, faith is an integral part in God’s plan for man. Don’t be scared of faith, you already are using it for something. Just what are you using it for?
